President Barak Obama's aunt has been granted asylum to stay in the United State where she had been as an illegal immigrant. Zeituni Onyango faced deportation as she is originally from Kenya. With this asylum ruling, she will now be eligible for a work permit, social secutiry card and drivers license. Also, in a year she can apply for permanent residency, and in five years she can seek out citizenship.
