Legal Immigrant Facing Deportation

Sney Pandey is currently facing deportation after she shoplifted $20 worth of costume jewelry from Kohl's. Pandey is married and has been in the U.S. since 2007. She is reportedly a permanent resident with a green card, but could now face deportation to India if found guilty of this crime. She would reportedly be deported on the grounds of "moral turpitude." However, she is reportedly hoping to not formally admit guilty as she has paid back Kohl's and agreed to not return to the store.
