Passport Fees on Rise

Passport fees in the United States are going to be going up. Adult passport book fees will go from $$100 to $135, while those for minors will be going from $85 to $105. Along with that, renewal fees will also be increasing from $75 to $110. Other fees such as judicial services to reporting the births of American children born abroad will also be changing. These changes are due in part to technology and the switch to the e-passport with a chip.
